of Carina, but this guy absconds to the Western part of

Sometime, the children are grown-up and the GDR has
perished, she meets Carina Rothaupt again. And she retrieves

narration which allows a deeper insight on what exists
subliminal. Like the longing of the protagonists breaks into
their daily life, Wessel undermines the expectations of the
reader and suddenly nothing is predictable...
